Richard Dixon

Managing Director

Richard took over from his father Eddie Dixon, in 2005. Hands-on and always keen to explore the next innovation in lottery fundraising, Richard is determined to make charitable giving through gaming a real possibility for every good cause.

  • Denise Williams - Director of Business Strategy

    Denise leads the business development and client support team. Denise ensures current and future client needs are met through excellent levels of service and an effective development of those services into the future. She drives Sterling’s strategic planning, both medium and long-term, to ensure that Sterling remain at the forefront of the charitable gaming sector.

  • Donna Christie - Head of Lottery Operations

    Donna has an impressive track record in the administration of lotteries at a managerial level, ensuring the smooth-running of our operations. She possesses a wealth of knowledge, leading the team on the finer details of data management. She is responsible for managing our lottery administrators and reviewing processes to build best practice.

  • Andrew Campbell - IT and Software Development Manager

    Andrew maintains the IT infrastructure within Sterling. Sterling’s team of Software Engineers work full time on software upgrades; Andrew manages this team to make sure we continually exceed security standards and handle client projects with due care. He is always looking at new exciting technology we can incorporate into our systems.

    Mark heads up the team of Accountants who assist our clients with everything from lottery bookkeeping to Gambling Commission returns.   • Jessica Younger - Client Services Coordinator

    Jess is your first point of contact and deals with all inbound enquiries, connecting our clients with the service that will best suit their requirements. A master of multitasking, when she’s not fielding enquiries, Jess also manages our Unity lotteries, and works on marketing projects; ensuring we’re on brand and exhibition ready!

    Shirley is an expert on lotteries for both charities and workplaces alike. Having worked in lottery administration, she has the perfect balance of knowledge between operations, management and promotion. Shirley develops an intimate knowledge of each lottery and takes pride in outstanding service. She fields client queries like a lottery mastermind!

    Coming from a charity background, Rui understands fundraising organisations; making him the perfect point of contact between our clients and our team to provide comprehensive and fool-proof project management. Rui provides clarity, familiarity, and a pro-active relationship for our clients – and can always be counted upon for service with a smile!

  • Phil Gerrish - Digital Marketing Manager

    Phil is at the forefront of gaming innovation. Having predicted the snowball effect that web and social would have on the lottery world and with an eye for marketplace appeal, Phil has been instrumental in the development of our services; ensuring we are ahead of the game and our clients are ready for the next era of charitable gaming.

  • Naomi Milburn - Raffles and Donations Manager

    Naomi is our raffles champion, maximising the success of raffle campaigns through precise planning, accurate administration, and comprehensive reporting. Naomi oversees the raffles team; including sourcing print, receiving inbound responses, processing ticket sales and donations, reporting and sending data back to our clients.

    Karl is our expert on all things legal; contracts, legislation and compliance. He ensures our clients feel confident in every aspect of their lottery. Through his long-standing relationship with the Gambling Commission he advises our clients on changes to legislation and represents our clients’ interests at a governance level.

  • Lauren McGuirk - Lottery Operations Supervisor

    Working with our Lottery Operations Manager, Lauren assists in the implementation of new lotteries and conversions to ensure that every launch is watertight. Lauren offers extensive experience in lottery administration and is instrumental in the training and supervision of the team; from data processing, to software improvements.

One of our longest-standing members of staff, Ann has seen at least 4 lottery software system changes, and offers invaluable insight into what works! Ann heads up the New Players team, ensuring that all new supporters are input accurately and on-time.
